Dr. Qaqish is committed to providing exceptional care for patients with advanced chronic and end-stage kidney disease, ensuring they have reliable access to the dialysis they need. Dr. Qaqish's training includes internal medicine, nephrology, a fellowship in kidney-pancreas transplantation, followed by a fellowship in interventional nephrology. He is board-certified in internal medicine, nephrology, and vascular medicine-endovascular . Additionally, he holds certification from the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN) for a range of advanced vascular access procedures, including the obliteration of accessory veins, subcutaneous port placements, and fluoroscopic placement of permanent peritoneal dialysis catheters.
Dr. Qaqish is an ASDIN Fellow and actively serves on multiple professional committees. He has authored numerous publications and contributed to books that highlight his expertise in nephrology and vascular access, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing care in his specialty.
