**Dalia M. Zaky Dawoud, MD, MSc, FASDIN ** is the esteemed Medical Director of the NAMG/AZURA Ambulatory Surgery Center and one of the physician leaders of Nephrology Associates Medical Group (NAMG), one of the largest nephrology practices in Southern California. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Dawoud has an impressive medical career spanning over 26 years across two countries, during which she has completed three fellowships and cared for countless patients. Her extensive experience and skills have established her as a leader in delivering high-quality care to patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Her dedication to providing the right care at the right time significantly enhances patient outcomes.
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Dawoud has served as an Interventional Nephrologist, Nephrologist, and educator. She is particularly renowned for her expertise in dialysis access management, including diagnostic angiograms, angioplasty, stent placement, and thrombectomy procedures. Dr. Dawoud also serves as a counselor for the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN) and chaired the 2024 ASDIN Annual Scientific Meeting, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the program and advancing the field.
Dr. Dawoud earned her Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (M.B.B.S.) and a Master of Science in Internal Medicine from Ain Shams University College of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. She is board-certified in both Nephrology and Internal Medicine, reflecting her dedication to medical excellence and her deep expertise in patient care.
